Arcadia Beach is not just a sandy shoreline but an entire resort world within Odesa. If you are visiting the city for the first time and wondering where to go to the sea, it is important to understand that Arcadia is not the city center and not a street near the Opera House. It is the heart of summer life, lively parties, cozy seaside breakfasts, and endless sunsets.
Arcadia Beach is a modern coastal district where all the summer energy of the city is concentrated: beach clubs, restaurants, sun loungers, panoramic views, and the atmosphere of a true resort. Most importantly, it is easy to reach.
Where is Arcadia Beach and how to get there
Arcadia Beach is located in the southern part of Odesa, near the 7th station of the Big Fountain area, close to French Boulevard. This is not the historical center but a modern resort cluster that is easy to access:
by tram No. 5 from Pryvoz Market, which goes directly to the Arcadia arch;
by minibus or taxi — about 15–20 minutes from the city center.
At the entrance to the beach area you will see:
Gagarinn Plaza shopping mall on the left;
Club Hotel 13 on the right;
Arcadia Alley in the center, leading directly to the legendary Ibiza Club.
Arcadia Beach layout: left and right sides
Left side — club zone and premium beaches
Turning left from Arcadia Alley (facing the sea), you enter the most vibrant and fashionable part of the coastline:
beach clubs such as Ibiza, Itaka, Portofino, Bono Beach Club;
closer to the edge — Aston Hall residential complex and Santorini Beach (also known as Buffet).
This area is known for loud music, pool parties, palm trees, and a lively atmosphere. Beaches are well equipped with sunbeds, menus, security, and showers. Entrance fees range from 150 to 500 UAH, depending on the venue and day.
Right side — walks, views, and calm atmosphere
Walking to the right from Ibiza Club, Arcadia becomes much quieter and more spacious:
concrete platforms with direct access to the sea;
a white rotunda, a classic photo spot;
Assol Restaurant, shaped like a wooden ship at the edge of the coast;
the area near Morska Symfoniya, where the Health Track begins — perfect for morning runs.
History of the name
The name “Arcadia” comes from ancient Greek mythology and refers to an idyllic land of harmony, nature, and enjoyment of life. In the early 20th century, this part of Odesa was developed as a seaside resort, and since then Arcadia has remained one of the city’s most popular summer destinations.
Where to stay near Arcadia Beach
If you want to stay close to the sea but away from constant club noise, Genuezska Street and the Arcadia City area are ideal. Here you will find modern residential complexes, cafes, shops, and a quick walk to the beach (5–7 minutes).
Local tip: Hotel Jupiter offers a cozy atmosphere near the sea, away from the noise yet close to everything.
